My Executive Producer, Andrew Gauthier pitched me on doing How To Write A Post Malone Song months before I took him seriously. I did a little bit of research and thought “I don’t know if this is really a thing.”

Over the next few months, Post Malone’s music kept making its way to my ears, and then I started to put together some common elements between his bangers.

I ended up with something in that world but not exact. I was trying to do him justice and not make a parody.
